Wines' serving optimum temperatures


As you certainly know, not all wines should be served at the same temperatures.
Here are the basic rules for temperatures ; check that the they are respected/reached with a wine thermometer.

Bordeaux red wines : 18°C / 65°F
Bourgogne red wines : 15-16°C / 58-60°F
Light and young red, Beaujolais wines: 12-16°C / 54-60°F
Rosé wines : 8-10°C / 46-50°F
Sweet white wines : 6-8°C / 42-46°F
Dry white wines : 10-12°C / 50-54°F
Champagne : 6-8°C / 42-46°F

Keep in mind that wines should be kept in the cellar at constant temperature
(ideally around 10-12°C / 50-54°F).
