STRAWBERRY PUNCH
Ingredients for 12 glasses
2 standard bottles of Champagne
(1.5 litre)
250 gr [1/2 lb] strawberries
2 Tspoons sugar
180 ml Brandy [7 fl oz]
180 ml orange liquor (type Cointreau)
[7 fl oz]
Recipe
Put the bottles of Champagne in the fridge
if they are not yet ! Cut the (rinced) strawberries in halves ;
put them in the Punch Bowl. Sprinkle the sugar on them ;
pour the Brandy and the Orange liquor on, cover and let macerate
in the fridge for 2 hours. Right before serving,
pour the cold Champagne on the strawberries.

SANGRIA
Ingredients for 12 glasses
2 standard bottles of red
wine (1.5 litre)
160 ml Cointreau [6 fl oz]
160 ml Cognac [6 fl oz]
160 ml Porto [6 fl oz]
2 oranges / 2 lemons
8 Tspoons sugar
cinnamon / ginger
season fruits
60 cl [1 pint] sparkling water
Recipe
Wash the oranges and the
lemons ; cut and keep a few
good looking slices to decorate ;
take some strips off their peel
and press for juice.
Prepare the season fruits in
small cubes (2 peaches,
2 apricots and strawberries
for example).
Pour everything but the water
(alcohol, juices, peels, fruits, sugar
and spices) in the Sangria bowl,
adjust sugar, ginger and cinnamon
to your tastes.
Leave at least 6 hours in the fridge
;
pour the cold sparkling water right
before serving.
