HONEY LACE BISCUITS
Ingredients for about 20 lace biscuits :
60 gr [2 oz] soft (unsalted) butter /
60 gr [2 oz] icing sugar /
60 gr [2 oz] honey / 60 gr [2 oz] flour / 2 egg whites
- Preheat oven at 180°C / 350°F.
- In a salad bowl, mix with a fork the butter with the icing sugar
and the
warm honey. Then add the egg whites and the flour, then a pinch salt.
You must obtain an homogeneous mixture.
- On a non-stick oven tray, display a ball of this pastry then flatten
it in
a round shape with a spoon back ; do the same with all pastry.
- Bake in oven for 5 minutes ; the biscuits will become golden.
Take them gently with a spatula and display them on a rolling pin
to help
give their shape and let them cool down.
NB : tuiles must be eaten very fresh…
Trick :
- if you want them to be more original, spread some rosemary on them
before baking
- if you wish to be very classical, spread them with sliced almonds
before baking ! |
